I have been overwhelmed by your outpouring of encouragement and support for me and my family. We are grateful for you all and have a deep love for this church family. Thank you!

I will be gone this Sunday, February 26. I welcome your prayers as I lead a men’s retreat for First Baptist Church Round Rock. This retreat was arranged prior to my assignment at Hunters Glen and I am thankful to our leadership for allowing me to fulfill this commitment. Stuart will be preaching in my absence and I know you will be blessed.

I will begin a new sermon series called “The Road to Easter” on March 5. Easter Sunday is April 9. Pray now for who God would have you bring.

Jason has been the Pastor at HGBC since February of 2023. He has nearly 30 years of full-time ministry experience with a background in family ministry and organizational leadership. Jason earned his bachelor's degree from Howard Payne and his Master's and Doctorate degrees from Hardin-Simmons. Jason is married to Heather, and they have two daughters, Hallee and Chloe. In addition to serving as Pastor, Dr. Atchley is an adjunct faculty member at Howard Payne and provides leadership in various roles and responsibilities for the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
