Jeremiah laments his personal plight in prayer to God and in response, God promises redemption and deliverance. The Lord does not promise to change his unpopular standing among the people, and this is what seemed to trouble Jeremiah the most throughout his life and ministry.

 

When your calling starts to break you remember…

Jeremiah was struggling to understand a very important message. His identity is not in the calling but in the Creator.

God tells Jeremiah he needs to repent because his attitude toward God was mirroring the word and attitudes of the people of Judah.

  1. You    in Light of the  .

Sometimes success in the kingdom involves failure in the world

The Lord usually balances out rebuke with reassurance.

Jeremiah was learning to walk by faith which means obeying God’s Word no matter how he felt, what he saw, or what others might say or do to him.
