Follow Along with the Message

In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds his readers to remain thankful and considerate, not to worry about tomorrow, and to thank God for all He has done.

True contentment is found in the joy of the Lord.

Our consumer-driven culture is filled with consumption, desire, and fulfillment telling us that more stuff produces joy.

Paul teaches that your…

1.   Your  .

Dallas Willard wrote in his book Renovation of the Heart, “Thoughts are the place where we can and must begin to change.”

If you want to live a life of Joy and find true contentment, Paul says monitor what you think about.

In our relationship with Jesus, if we don't focus on His character, then more than likely we won't emulate Him in the decisions we make.
