What Does Christmas Change?

Mark 3:1-6

"And the end of our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time."--T. S. Eliot

When it is over, will anything be different?

God sent His Son into the world to CHANGE it.

"No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; otherwise the new patch pulls away from it. . .and a worse tear results.  No one puts new wine into old wineskins."--Mark 2:21-22

--Who We REACH--Mark 2:14

"If you are not reaching people, you may love Jesus, but you do not love what Jesus loves."--Bryan Medway

--Why We REJOICE--Mark 2:18  (Philippians 4:4, Nehemiah 8:10)

"Whom have I in heaven, but You?  And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."--Psalm 73:25-26

--How We Stop RESISTING--Mark 3:1-6

"Wretched man that I am!  Who will set me free from the body of this death?  Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!"--Romans 7:24-25
