    Palm Sunday is not a spur-of-the-moment ride into Jerusalem but a carefully orchestrated entrance that fulfills the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. 

    The Triumphal Entry marks the beginning of his journey toward the cross, not as a defeat, but as the path of kingship and redemptive authority. 

     

     

    Many that day asked the question…

    1.   Is  ?

    This man is first exactly who John introduced him to be. He is the Lamb of God.

    Jesus is also much more than a sacrifice. He is a righteous, holy, and royal person.

     

     

     

    Jesus that day asked the question…

    2.  Is  ?

    For Jesus, the temple was supposed to be “a house of prayer,” but it had become “a den of robbers.”

    When Jesus overturns the tables and seats in the temple, he is overturning the established way of life for the people there.
