Follow Along with the Message

When we ground our lives in Jesus Christ—who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)—we can find joy and fulfillment in any season or situation, and we can live in his strength not ours.

Sometimes we feel discontent with what we have because we are unable to differentiate between a “need” and a “desire.”

We should ask God for our “daily bread”—and nothing more.

Paul teaches us that God’s peace comes through…

1. God’s  Not Our  .

In our ambition to have success, do we focus on our pursuit or his provision?

He brings us peace when we are anxious and guards our hearts and minds with his truth.

Paul is not concerned with his possessions. He is concerned with God’s glory.

Paul teaches us that God’s peace comes through…

2. God’s   Not Our  .

The praise of Paul is a promise for us. God will supply your every need.

We can be content in God by trusting that his gifts far outweigh our greed for more.

James Boice remarks that, “Paul wanted to know Jesus in the truest biblical sense—personally and experientially."
