Death is never a fun topic to talk about. It can feel scary, especially when we’re young.

The foreknowledge of death is universal, but Christ’s return inspires us to turn our face to God and find comfort in his coming.

    Until the Return of Christ…

    1. Don’t     Even in  .

Paul longs for the Thessalonians to know that he sees that the grief they face is real, and he wants them to deal with it properly.

Knute Larson wrote, “The death of a Christian is something very different from the death of an unbeliever. The difference is the hope, the assurance, of resurrection.”

While we wait for the Return of Christ…

    2. Wait with    .

Our hope rests on the assurance of God holding to his promises and bringing them to fulfillment at Jesus’s return.

We live in the present moment with great expectation, knowing that when we pass, or Christ returns we will be reunited with Christ and other believers in the end.
