Once you’ve encountered God, your calendar starts with his salvation of grace.

When John the Baptist announced, “Behold, the Lamb of God, ”the Baptist was declaring that Jesus is the Passover Lamb.

The blood of the lamb of God not only takes away our sins, but because of the death and resurrection of that lamb, those who live in him will never die.

The meta-narrative is a story of…

God has the power to protect people through the blood of the sacrificial lamb and to completely transform them.

This chapter in the meta-narrative of Scripture is important because we learn that redemption through sacrifice would shape memories and future generations.

2.  .

In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus says that his blood “is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:28).

The last meal he ate with his disciples, Jesus chose to reveal to them his great gift of grace and forgiveness through their faith in him, meaning all of us can be right with God if we believe in the Lamb.
