Follow Along with the Message

According to Jesus’s teaching, the ultimate separation between believers and nonbelievers is based on just one factor: Did Jesus know you? As Bonhoeffer notes, someone may do wonderful things in the name of Christ but not be known by him.

Bonhoeffer writes, “Jesus knows only one possibility: simple surrender and obedience, not interpreting it or applying it, but doing and obeying it.”

The evidence of discipleship is willingly…

  1.   the  .

God knows the difference between those who profess his name and those who actually follow him. Those who walk the narrow way or those who do not. In the end, the “grades” will not be the same for everyone.

Having the evidence of discipleship is knowing more about…

2.   Than  .
