    Peter's mistake was because he was afraid of being…

    Fear creeps into Peter’s heart, and he flees because he doesn’t want to be crucified along with Jesus.

    Fear is a powerful emotion that causes the most courageous and loyal to become cowardly and abandon the ones we claim to love the most.

     

     

    Disciples make mistakes, and Jesus chose to restore Peter after his denial by giving him…

    After the crucifixion of Jesus, Peter doesn’t immediately return to his place of leadership. He returns to what he knows: fishing.

    Jesus calls Peter to begin again, to start following him again.

    Being restored by God’s grace is a game changer.
