RICH!

 

The RICH young ruler (Luke 18); the parable of the RICH farmer (Luke 12); God is RICH in mercy (Ephesians 2)

 

In every age (ours included) some have more.

 

"Truly I say to you, it is hard for a RICH man to enter the kingdom of heaven."--Matthew 19:23.

 

 He is talking to us.

 

 

--REALLY RICH PEOPLE ARE GODLY--v. 6

 

     eusebomai (eu, well; sebomai,  to worship)

 

 

--REALLY RICH PEOPLE ARE CONTENT--v. 6

 

     autoarkeo (auto, self; arkeo, to have enough)

 

     "She smiles at the future."--Proverbs 31:25

 

--REALLY RICH PEOPLE ARE JOYFUL--v. 17

 

     "Fix their hope. . .on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy."

 

 

--REALLY RICH PEOPLE ARE SERVANTS--v. 18

     RICH in good WORKS. . .the work of prayer, the work of ministry, the work of encouragement, the work of generosity.
