    In Acts chapter 8, we find Philip was on mission for the Lord when he was called to set out on the road from Jerusalem to Gaza (Acts 8:26).

    Sometimes we don’t know where our faith journey will take us. Philip’s obedience to go to the ends, leads to a conversation and the conversion of an Ethiopian man.

     

     

    We don’t always know where the journey will take us, but we need to…

    Are we sufficiently open to and in tune with the Spirit to allow him to take us on unexpected journeys? 

    Philip knew he needed to share the good news. He had the Holy Spirit as his guide, instructor, and even guard, but he still needed to actively go in obedience.

    One pastor said, “We cannot be upset when people don’t believe in a Savior that we won’t or haven’t told them about.”

    We are called to be ready for those unexpected moments on our faith journey to share Jesus in love, even when we don’t know what to say.
