Without answers to our questions, panic causes us to object to the process or test we’re going through.

Corrie Ten Boom once said, ”There is no panic in Heaven! God has no problems, only plans."

When panic begins to set in when you are tested, remember Jesus offers you…

  1.   in the  .

Jesus offers grace and encouragement because he knows the end of the story, both holistically and individually.

Jesus tells the disciples what they needed to know at that moment. What they needed to know was that eventually his absence would bring joy in the future.

Paul David Tripp writes in Gospel Hope When Life Doesn’t Make Sense, “It’s impossible to live between the ‘already’ and the ‘not yet’ without suffering through the tests somehow, someway. Your suffering is not a sign that you’ve been forsaken; rather, it’s a sign that you live in a world that doesn’t function the way God intended and is in need of complete renewal.”

The author of the test is also the one who is with you during the test.
