Follow Along with the Message

One man in the Bible who was often tested to perform a task without much information on the how, was Abraham.

Abraham was characteristically someone who put obedience ahead of facts.

The key element of Abraham's ability to pass the test he faced was…

  1. He    Would  .

Trusting God to intervene is relaxing our clutched fists of control and trusting that God will give us what we need, day by day, moment by moment.

Hebrews 11:19 says that Abraham trusted so much in God’s promise that he figured if he had to offer up Isaac, then God would raise his son from the dead.

God will fulfill his promises. However, we must be careful to manage our expectation of how we want God to bless us, while not becoming discouraged on how he tests us.
