Our fruitfulness comes not from self-effort but from continual dependence on Jesus.

The Father is the vinedresser, carefully tending his vineyard with perfect wisdom. Vinedresser is a term comparable to farmer.

Jesus says, Before I Go You Need to Know…

    1.   X    =

The fruit we produce is measured in the visible evidence of the Spirit’s work within us.

To remain fruitless is to misrepresent the vine.

Bearing fruit is not a painless process.

Jesus says, Before I Go You Need to Know…

    2.     +  =    .

The word Jesus uses for hate has connotations of persecution associated with it.

Not only should those who trust in Jesus expect to be unpopular, but those who trust in Jesus shouldn’t be surprised when there is an organized or spontaneous persecution against them.

This isn’t new math, it’s old math!
