Abram is the beginning of the Hebrew people, the nation of Israel, and ultimately, the church.

Covenants go beyond just a contract; they bind people together through blood.

God’s story of redemption has always been rooted in faith and grace.

God’s covenant with Abram is his promise to…

  1.    with  .

God is foreshadowing in Genesis 15, a means of restoration from the events in the garden.

God’s promise is certain, but by telling Abram, he shows that this promise stretches beyond Abram’s lifetime. He is sowing a future he will not fully see.

God showed Abram what he would one day do, and in Jesus, God did it.
