Families of children, teens, and adults with special needs are welcomed at HGBC! Our CARE Ministry encourages students to be involved in various activities at church such as serving as greeters, tending to the CARE Ministry Memorial Garden, and packing boxes at Christmas for the Samaritan’s Purse Ministry. Starting at age 5 to adult, we offer structured classrooms and we teach the Bible in whole group and small group settings. We also provide opportunities for Inclusion with the help of teacher aides.
We work as a team to make sure that our students are thriving and learning the word of God every Wednesday, Sunday, and throughout their lives. We teach the Scriptures and the Gospel faithfully with visual supports, music, and art. Our goal is for students to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and to know how much He loves them! We also assist families with the next step of baptism.
In order to best meet the needs of our students we encourage families to contact our Special Needs Minister, Rose Henke, to discuss the best learning environment and supports for your child, teen, or adult.
