What to Expect

We believe the most important role in youth ministry is that of a volunteer.  You are those who intentionally pour into the lives of students through love, communication, and consistency, which is your primary function.  Our youth group has a variety of ways for a volunteer to serve; however, the most key volunteer position is that of our life group leaders. Please read below to get a better understanding of what our expectations are for this role.

Lead A Life Group: 9:30am Sunday Mornings

You’ll oversee a maximum of ten students of your same gender, and that
are all in the same grade. Life groups meet at 9:30am in a private room in our Student Facility; leaders are required to be at Church by 9am. These hours include small group time, games, hangout, worship, and leader debriefs. We will provide you with the small group prompt each week through our Weekly Leader email. The prompt & passage you will discuss in life groups is from Sunday’s teaching.

• We expect life group leaders to spend 30 minutes prepping for each
  small group discussion.
