Guest Speaker Dr. Hal Habecker

We welcome Hal Habecker who will be our guest preacher on October 4th and 11th. Hal is founder of Finishing Well Ministries and he and his wife Vicki attend Hunters Glen.
He launched Finishing Well Ministries five years ago. It is focused on encouraging retired people to continue strong for Jesus. Prior to starting that ministry, Hal served for 23 years as the Senior Pastor at Dallas Bible Church. Before DBC, he served 14 years with the Christian Medical & Dental Association (CMDA). CMDA is an organization that ministers to physicians, dentists, and medical and dental students. In his very first ministry following Dallas Seminary, he served for 5 years on the adult ministry staff of First Baptist Church, Dallas, shepherding and teaching the Medical-Dental Sunday School Class. Hal is a pastor/teacher with a heart for people, helping them grow in their love and service for Jesus. Hal was born in Hershey, PA. He is a graduate of Taylor University (BA), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and Denver Seminary (D.Min.). He and his wife, Vicki, are a team. They have been married for 44 years and are the proud parents of 3 adult children (Jennifer, Bethany, and Jonathan). Their 6 grandchildren are keeping Hal and Vicki young (and tired). They have been members of Hunters Glen for 4 years, and Hal teaches a LIFE Group on Sunday mornings.
